Promotions

Offers that start and stop automatically. Promotions reduce the prices of selected products for a period, with reference prices calculated according to the rules.

What you get

• Choose products: select by category, brand, product or tag, with exclusions and a preview of how many products match.
• Choose your audience: private customers, business customers or both.
• Set the period: promotions start and stop automatically, with prices reverting immediately. The promotion remains in the history.
• Reference prices under Norwegian law: the reference price is calculated from price history using the lowest price in the previous 30 days, under Section 9a of Norway's Price Information Regulations.
• Protect your margin: set a minimum margin and round down to whole kroner.
• One product: create a promotion for an individual item directly from its product details.

Requirements

Promotions currently discounts products. Discounts on the entire order and on shipping have not yet been built. A product without price history cannot be put on promotion because its reference price cannot be calculated.
